Last month I completed a floral painting with my Twinkling H2O's on watercolour paper with a board backing. I was unsure whether I should add more line work and detail and I didn't want to ruin the original painting... So what to do? I decided to colour photocopy the painting, on the highest quality print setting directly onto water colour paper. Then I added black ink, to outline the main flowers, leaves and shapes. Inktense pencils and Prismacolor pencils added layers, shadow and depth to the picture and finally black and white fine tip markers completed the line and detail work. I am really pleased with the way it turned out and it all started out as a photocopy! Thanks for stopping by! xxx
