Another Beautiful RAK...

I was lucky enough to receive another beautiful RAK this week, this time from the lovely and very talented Helen! This is a K&Co mini album with chipboard covers and plastic sleeves for the pages. It is absolutely stunning and I have had heaps of fun putting this together. I have just finished it this morning and I love the way it has turned out! Thank you so much Helen for your beautiful gift!
Now off to catch up on some house work! LOL...

A Beautiful RAK...

Yesterday I received a beautiful RAK (Random Act of Kindness) in the mail from Honeywine over at LSBS. She surprised me with this beautiful Kaiser bag, Basic Grey papers and a bag of embellishments! I just had to start it straight away and a day later here is the finished project. I love the way this turned out, the colours are amazing! Thank you so much Honeywine for your wonderful gift and generosity!

In The City...

I have finished some layouts this week. The "City" layout is a picture that my DD drew and I happen to think it is gorgeous... especially as she was four at the time! I love the different textures on this layout... it is not my usual style.

The second layout is for the January Sketch Challenge over at Direct 2 U... I have used the Basic Grey Urban Prairie range... these papers are so yummy! They have a folk art feel to them. Every month there are two sketches to choose from. You can find out more about the sketch challenge here. The picture is of my younger DD who was just about to turn two, December 2007.

I have also been putting my own version of Project 365 together. After the kits sold out, Becky Higgins was able to provide a digi freebie with some of the elements from the kit... which is totally generous! I am using a gorgeous 6" x 12" album that I received from Mum and Dad at Christmas complete with papers and a whole range of embellishments. Instead of doing a photo a day, I am going to do a simple layout with one photo each week.

Until next time... Cheers, Lisa xxx

Time to Create!

Here are some cards that I have made over the past few days. Most of them are birthday or RAK cards so there is a little more happy mail going around! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I always love January... I feel like I can make a fresh start and the year promises many exciting adventures!
So it is time to create! Perhaps you received some beautiful scrapping gifts over Christmas, or maybe it is time to use up some old supplies, what ever your choice, I hope you have some time to yourself to create over the next few days!
