Go Green
Here is my 'Go Green' art journal from Rae Missigman's 21 Secrets class! I saved the book cover from an old diary and went to town with gesso, paper towels, paint and my scrap stash. I had so much fun and I am already thinking about my next 'Go Green' journal project. Thank you, Rae, for a wonderful class, fantastic instructions and brilliant inspiration! Art Journal Conversion
A little while ago, I signed up for Roben-Marie Smith's Art Journal Conversion course. I loved this class so much, I made made journals full to the brim with beautiful watercolour paper! I was so inspired by watching the beautiful videos where Roben-Marie generously shares her wonderful process. Roben-Marie is also one of the 21 Secrets teachers this year. I am now starting to use the journals I made for my art journaling and doodling. I would love to do this class all over again and make even more journals! Thanks for stopping by! xxx

Thankful For My Life
Here is a canvas I completed a little while ago. It was around the time I was enjoying a Christy Tomlinson course and a Revlie class and from the layers of yummy paint, you can see I was inspired by both of these amazing mixed-media artists! I loved adding the layers of paint, ink, stamping and paper. There is something wonderful about having a little bit of time to yourself to have some fun and create! Thanks for stopping by! xxx

Take Two
Last month I completed a floral painting with my Twinkling H2O's on watercolour paper with a board backing. I was unsure whether I should add more line work and detail and I didn't want to ruin the original painting... So what to do? I decided to colour photocopy the painting, on the highest quality print setting directly onto water colour paper. Then I added black ink, to outline the main flowers, leaves and shapes. Inktense pencils and Prismacolor pencils added layers, shadow and depth to the picture and finally black and white fine tip markers completed the line and detail work. I am really pleased with the way it turned out and it all started out as a photocopy! Thanks for stopping by! xxx

Twinkling H2O's
I was lucky enough to find a few Twinkling H2O's at my local art and craft supply store and Cameron bought me some watercolour paper on a board backing. I love the vibrancy of the twinks and can't wait to expand my collection! I am still deciding whether I should add some more line work and doodling with my black and white pens.

Our Tropical Girl
I wanted to share a layout I did of CJ. We were on holidays on the Gold Coast and the girls loved playing and swimming in the resort pool. I love this photo, CJ's smile and the way the sun glistens on the water... I just had to scrap it! Thanks for stopping by! xxx

Imagine
This cute house is part of the Christy Tomlinson Creative Colour Workshop I enjoyed at the end of last year. The house is backed onto corrugated cardboard and Prima scrapbooking paper. I had fun with Kaiser rubons and various stamps. I like the little stamped birdy on the right hand side. The quote says "Live the life you imagine" and that's exactly what I want to do this year! Thanks for stopping by! xxx
