Carefree

Can you tell I am on school holidays? I am scrapping and blogging my heart out! Here is a layout of Miss C having some fun on her scooter. I cannot believe I took this photo in January... it only seemed like a few weeks ago. I actually had to re-check the date on the camera! Enchanted has a cybercrop this weekend and this is what I came up with for one of the challenges.

Here is a layout I created last weekend using the latest kit from Enchanted Scrapbooking. The kit is called 'Pixie Trinkets'. I love the bright colours and the different patterns and textures that seem to match perfectly. This photo of my daughter was taken at Easter. Thanks for stopping by! xxx

Creating Again!

I have been away for a while enjoying my new teaching job and learning alot of new things! This means that scrapping time has been rare this year. In terms of my own scrapping, it has been almost three weeks since my last layout! We have recently found out that hubby and I have new teaching jobs next year, we will move four hours north of BrisVegas and live near the beach! ARTastic December Challenge

Here is the artwork for this month's ARTastic challenge. It is Vermeer's "The Head of a Girl". I hope you like the painting as I had the opportunity to make a suggestion for this month. I love the simplicity and style of the painting. I thought it would be great inspiration for scrapping layouts with portrait photos. Here is an image of the artwork and my take on the challenge...
