Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and From Screen to Scrap have a fantastic challenge this month that I couldn't resist!

ARTastic Challenge

It is a new month and over at ARTastic there is wonderful new inspiration! This month the painting is "Venus at her Toilet" by Rubens. It is a classical painting with deep, rich colours.

The extra criteria are as follows;

For an extra 6 bonus points, try and work the following into your layout;

Layout must be about you - 1 pt

Add wings somewhere on your layout - 2 pts

Use a mirror image or same picture of you multiple times - 3 pts

New Cards!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everybody! I just love the beginning of a new year! It is fresh, sparkly and new and brimming with wonderful opportunities. It is a special time where we can reflect on and be grateful for the year that has passed and look forward to beautiful experiences ahead!

My layout is called "Sweet". This was a lovely challenge and I thought the extra criteria were fantastic! I scrapped a photo of my girls and my Mum while we celebrated Caitlyn's birthday... she is the one without the crown. I have all of the criteria covered - three people, a celebration and I have food (cupcakes) on the gorgeous Webster's paper. I added some pretty flowers too. A new month means a new challenge over at ARTastic. December's inspiration will come from the painting 'The Mystical Nativity' by Botticelli. Here are the extra details...
